Songs for Teaching

Guest Post by Liz:

Having a hard time learning the capitals and their states?  How about all those Geometry Theorems?  English Grammar is a bore?
Did you know that kids can learn ANYTHING if you put it to music?  Seriously!  Ask your child to recite the presidents.  Did you get a funny look?  Now ask her to recite the words to her favorite song.  Didn't miss a word did she?
There are lots of "educational" songs out there for almost anything that your child might need to memorize for school.  Sure it might not be the hippest, coolest music.  But my guess is, that if it means getting an "A" your child will endure the not-so-coolness of listening to it.  Plus if your child listens to it, then that automatically makes it cool, right?
So here's a link to some songs that might help! Songs for Teaching

Using songs really works! Even my 3 year old can sing most of the 50 states after listening to my older 2 sing the 50 states song. Works like a charm!
