Works for me Wednesday- Christmas Lights' Holder

Welcome readers to my first post on Works for me Wednesday! I stumbled upon this idea by accident, but it is a great one. Use a popcorn tin (mine is about 8 years old, so pardon the dust and little bit of rust) to store your Christmas lights. I wrap ours in a circle, one strand at a time and lay them on top of each other. I can fit about 5-6 strands in one tin and they stay put all year long...no tangles (or cursing) as you get them out for the next year. Your tin will get a bit banged up over the years (see above), so don't use one that's near and dear to your heart, but it's a great space saver and headache reducer.

Great great idea!! You hate to just toss those big ol' things! Great way to be green and recycle!
Hugs.. Amy

What a great idea, I can't wait to try this with our thousands of outdoor lights this year!
